Moods
I think our characters should have moods. Every time i log on, my ele always has the serious face on, he doesn't even blink (he really doesn't, i asked other people, they said the same thing). So what im suggesting is in your friends list, by the scroll down box for your status, there should be moods, happy, mad, sad, lonely, excited, etc etc, and then your face would change, your character might be frowning, or could have a smile for once in his/her life. I think it would be just nice to have, i personally don't know how much effort it would take for the team thats on guild wars

Emotes are different from Moods. In Star Wars Galaxies they had both and it's easy to tell them apart. I like the idea. Not sure if its going to happen in GW1.

I agree with that. I really dislike the fact that there are no facial expressions in this game and also the fact that it seems like your characters have WAY too much gel in their hair! I mean cmon the characters with long hair and it doesn't even blow in the wind? Or move while you run? And the cape movements are horrible too especially the rangers :P I hope the graphic engines for GW2 fix these issues.

Well you can barely even see peoples faces, but I guess it couldnt really hurt anything to have it in there.

I'm sure they'll have it released by 2015. Then they can have moods, emotes, weather changes and even a real life coffee dispenser spitting out from your disc drive.

You don't really have to see the details on their faces to figure out the mood. When you see someone in a frightened mood, you would see sudden head movements as if something is about to happen, looking over he shoulder, and general body movement would follow the head, etc. And this would loop over and over until you change to a different mood or set it to default.

do I need to say more?
I prefer for them to design new content than stuff that is not important.

I hope you realize this will take large amounts of budget for this. By large, I mean LARGE.

You want characters that change face depending on mood? Get Team Fortress 2, play Heavy and watch his face change when he goes "CRRRYYYY SOME MOOOOOREEEE!!! HAHAAHHAHA!!! *rattatatatatatata*".

Yes to OP. They could take signals out of what we're typing and make our character's facial emotions change; it's done in other games, it can be done in GW.

It's possible, but:
1. Why?
2. This isn't RPG. It's MMORPG. And that's a big difference.
3. Maaaany more important things.
4. Too complicated for current staff.
5. The point...?

This reminds me of a thread that was deleted within an hour on this forum a while back. It suggested giving female characters menstrual cycles and giving male characters erections.
Unless that happens, no. BTW, why do I get the feeling that you're solange in disguise?

Then we'd have that Wii-boxing style "smile while you're knocked the f*** out" look going on.
"I'm dead!"
...
"But happy!"
I just think it's needless.
